01 Pre-Qualification

After submitting basic details, customers can get pre-approved quickly, often within minutes or a few hours, with no impact on their credit score.

02 Approval

Customers will need to provide additional documentation, such as a government-issued photo ID or proof of income, depending on the details of the loan. Once approved, the customer receives the full loan information for review.

03 Direct Payment

After approval and payment setup, Financeit transfers the funds directly to RenoDuck.

04 Renovation Starts

Once the financing is approved and the payment process is completed, the renovation project can begin.

Home Renovation Financing FAQ’s

You can easily apply for financing through RenoDuck, thanks to our partnership with Financeit. Our team will either guide you through the application process in person or send you a secure link, so you can complete the application online at your convenience.

You can set up your loan easily by linking your online banking! If you prefer not to use online banking, you’ll need a government-issued photo ID and a void cheque to arrange automatic payments. In some cases, proof of income may also be required.

Your interest rate will depend on factors like the size of your renovation project and your credit report. Generally, rates range between 8.99% and 14.99%, ensuring competitive terms for your project.

Once approved, your payments will be automatically deducted from your bank account based on the payment schedule you choose. RenoDuck and Financeit also offer the flexibility to make lump sum or early payments without any penalties.

The length of your repayment period, or amortization, will vary based on your loan size, credit details, and the project.
